Moving to Nashville
Buying from out of town? Make every trip count.
When you only have a day or two in Nashville, there's no time for wasted showings. I do the narrowing before you land, so every visit is focused on homes and neighborhoods that actually fit.
“He came prepared, organized, and knowledgeable about every area we explored, helping us make the most of our short trips. He also helped narrow down the homes that would be the right fit out of the probably 700+ homes I had favorited (I wish I was kidding!).”
How it works
A plan built around short trips.
Start with a call
Before you book a flight, we talk through budget, commute, schools you want to research, and how you want to live. I turn that into a short list of neighborhoods worth your time.
Get a tour kit
Every trip comes with a map, a schedule and notes on each home, plus a drive through the neighborhoods so you can feel the difference between them.
Keep looking between trips
When something new hits the market, I can walk it for you on video so you don't have to fly in for every maybe.
Close from anywhere
Most paperwork can be signed electronically, and I coordinate inspections, keys and the details on the ground.
Know before you go
A few things newcomers ask first.
No state income tax on wages
Tennessee doesn't tax wages, which surprises a lot of people moving from other states. Sales tax is higher, so it's worth running your own numbers.
Property taxes vary by county
Davidson, Williamson, Wilson and the surrounding counties all tax differently, and some cities add their own tax. I'll walk you through the real monthly cost for the areas you're considering.
The metro is bigger than downtown
From East Nashville to Franklin to Mt. Juliet, commute and lifestyle change a lot within 20 minutes. That's why we start with how you want to live.
